Specialization: International trade of cocoa and cocoa products

Janet Gómez is a professional with extensive experience in the purchase, processing and export of cocoa. He currently holds the position of Deputy Director in Mexico at Ecom Agrotrade Industriala global company with a presence in more than 80 countriesspecializing in commodities such as cocoa, coffee, cotton and oil palm.

In her role, Janet oversees the cocoa procurement and processing in Mexico, operating a plant in Veracruz which produces butter, pasta and cocoa for export. His work ranges from the relationship with small producers in sustainability projects to the negotiation and sale to international markets.

It has more than 15 years of experience in the cocoa sector, establishing long-term business relationships with suppliers and buyers. In addition, it is a strong promoter of sustainable practicesensuring that production complies with new environmental regulations and quality standards demanded by the global market.

Your knowledge of the cocoa trade dynamicsthe price risk management and the implementation of technology in the agricultural sector make her a key expert in the internationalization of Latin American cocoa.
